There was only one. It formed from a tiny bubble in the corner of her eye. Growing slowly it’s weight began to push it down her cheek and I could tell from her smile that she wasn’t at all sad. In fact she may have been more proud of me than I have ever made her when I told her the good news. She stepped over slowly and pressed herself tightly against me to pushing her lips to mine. All I could think about was how much I loved her and what that one single tear meant to me.
