Once I had taken the time to realize what I most wanted out of the few years I would get on this earth things became easy. All of the things that would be forgotten or sold after I was gone became meaningless and I knew that I was leaving to stand up on my own two feet with whatever I could carry. I would abandon things and trade them in for something that would last and allow me to feel as if it were my life that had meaning and not measure myself by placing a price on living. All it took was a small sacrifice and the guts to pack up to live my dreams instead of wasting them as I slept.
Once is the title of the latest collaboration between Beat Culture and Slow Magic and the pair have combined with great results. The mellow beat work and smooth sounds of both work perfectly with the sample taken from The Beach Boys song “That’s Not Me”. Knowing that the summer months are the time of graduations and freedom this collaboration and it’s sample make for perfect summer fare.
