Goblins Cry Too

by Teen Suicide
album Goblin Problems

They have no idea that we do this. We have far too much pride to allow them to see it. While they are all busy winning football games or shaking pom-poms and their tits, we are hidden away breaking up pot on an album cover in someone’s basement. The light crackle of the needle touching down offsets the stomping footsteps of lazy parents that are still married and hate each other exiting the stands. Their sons will pile into their brand new replacements for their love and head to that party eager to drink and snort cocaine. Their daughters will be nervous to be around those protein filled fucks but will peel their clothing off anyway. We will be relaxed and laughing even though we will never be like them because we know in the morning the goblins cry too.

If you are in the mood for a short burst of energy that calms to balance out an EP then you have to hear the latest EP Goblin Problems from Teen Suicide. You have probably heard the longer third track from the EP already and I don’t blame other blogs for choosing it as their post from this fly by three track affair. However there are also two energetic bombs opening for that stand out closing artist that should also have their day in the sun. I chose the EP opener Goblins Cry Too with its mixture of drum pounding and slashing guitar that serves for the base for an addictive Ooooo filled chorus ripe for summer harvest. Get the full EP now through the Bandcamp page and don’t miss out on either of the previous works while you are there.
